Our discovery with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis

She has arthritis in both jaws, we have a referral to be seen at a pediatric TMJ specialist in Chapel Hill to help treat it in her joints.

The nurse was concerned that her sensitivity to light is a sign that she might have inflammation in her eyes, so I have made a eye doc appointment tomorrow. SO I just can’t wait for tomorrow to get here. If she has it in her eyes, she has to get steroid eye drops to help treat it. I am so praying that Catherine doesn’t have it in her eyes. This is the hardest thing I have ever been through, just I sit back and wonder why.

The nurse said that methotrexate isn’t aggressive enough so they are going to look at other drugs to help fight it. I just pray it doesn’t get into her organs.
